Size
One size: to fit 54-56 cm/21-22” circumference.
Length from brim to top - about 26 cm/10.25”.
 
Yarn
1 skein of The Plucky Knitter Single (80% merino, 20% silk; 393m/430y per 100g) or any other single ply fingering weight yarn which gives you the correct gauge.
Shown in colorway Bashful.
(Note: the yarn is now discontinued but feel free to use any single ply yarn with similar properties for great stitch definition).
 
Needles
3.5 mm/US #4 circular needle (40 cm / 16” long) and/or dpns.
3.0 mm/US #2.5 circular needle (40 cm / 16” long) or dpns, or two sizes smaller than gauge needles.
3.75 mm/US #5 circular needle (40 cm / 16” long) or dpns, or one size larger than gauge needles (optional).
 
Other
stitch marker, cable needle, tapestry needle for weaving, blocking pins.
 
Gauge
27 sts and 36 rnds = 10 cm / 4” in St st worked in the rnd with main needle, 3.5 mm/US #4 (after wet blocking).
Take time to save time - check your gauge. If necessary, adjust needle size to obtain the correct gauge.
